Hello friends! 

As we open our doors for the first time in almost two months, we wanted to check in and update you on how things are going at the Marrygrams Boutique. Those of you who follow us on Instagram know we’ve been busy finding new ways to bring the shop to your couch, and while that has been its own kind of fun, we are SO happy to be able to serve our community in person again. 

But what does that actually look like? What if you’re not quite ready to venture out yet? And what are we doing to keep ourselves and customers safe? We’re so glad you asked! 

What You Can Expect from US...

Just like before we closed, we will do everything we can to keep the boutique safe, clean and easy to shop. This includes extra thorough cleaning and sanitizing of high touch areas, including a sanitizer station at the register. Because our boutique is located off the main street we are able to manage our traffic flow easily and customers can properly practice social distancing when they are in the shop. We are also strongly discouraging all cash transactions as our customers are able to handle their own card payments in a completely contact-less way. 

If we work together with patience and compassion as we all navigate the next few weeks, we are confident we can operate at our usual capacity without cause for concern. 

What We Need from YOU…

So here’s the thing. We don’t exist at all without you. So thank you, THANK YOU to everyone who has supported us during this uncertain time. Whether you purchased a card, shared an Instagram post, or sent a new friend our way, you have given us hope that we can weather this storm. 

And we know this hasn’t been easy for our customers either. We’ve all had some days that have been downright scary. But having this community to rely on during those moments has brought us all together in arguably even more meaningful ways. So thank you again, from the bottom of our hearts. We see you. And we are so grateful. 

But we aren’t out of the woods yet.

Please keep shopping small and supporting local businesses any way you can. Whether that’s a weekly take out order from your favorite restaurant, stocking up on cards to send letters to your friends, or just sharing a post on social media, every single thing you are able to do makes a big difference. 

As our friends at 1canoe2 so eloquently put it, “It’s not about buying something you can’t live without, it’s about supporting a business you don’t WANT to live without.” Who you support now will determine who is still standing later this year. So put your money where your heart is! Right back in your own community. 

But do so safely! Please don’t come shop if you are feeling even a little bit ill. Be mindful of the distance you are giving other people around you, and try not to handle items you are not sincerely interested in purchasing. These simple courtesies go a long way in helping us keep the boutique clean and open. 

And if you aren’t feeling quite up to coming to shop in person we totally understand that. But that doesn’t mean you can’t have some fun and #treatyoself too! You can find the “Shop the Boutique” section on our website open 24/7 for you to shop from the comfort of home. Orders of $35+ ship for free and curbside local pickup is always available. 

We are also still delighted to offer video chat shopping appointments, and even personal shopping appointments if you would like to have the boutique completely to yourself. We are here for you, however that looks right now. The important thing is that we get to keep doing this work we love, and you are a massive part of that. So let’s get creative! If you want to shop, we can make it happen. 

We know this moment in time is very unsettling for so many different reasons. Thank you for sticking by us through it all. We can’t wait to see each of your smiling faces in our little shop again soon!
